A Co-Packers Check-List
Co-Packers/Contract manufacturers need to have the details (examples below) to be able to quote a project correctly (if they can perform the role for a client).   A number of co-packers will give a survey to a new client that will ask the details on the project (examples such as):

Snack Categories
We specialize in co-packing natural and organic snacks and cereals for a number of clients. We have the ability to co-pack a variety of products. Our equipment gives us the ability to produce items that are:
Baked: We have a 60 ft-3 Zone Electric Oven that is a core feature for our co-packing efforts for baked products for a number of branded partners.
We can make any number of natural products including energy bars, date bars, breakfast / cereal bars, trail mixes, cereals, toaster pastries and more.

Co-Extruded and baked:  We have our Dual Extruder which currently  is Producing our own line up of Fig and Fruit Bars.  This line also has extruding and wire cut capabilities ideal for any number of co-packing possibilities.
We can make any number of natural products including energy bars, date bars, breakfast / cereal bars, trail mixes, cereals and more.

Non-bake bars:  We have a 60 ft Slab Make-up and Cooling Line that is perfect for raw manufactured products. Some scientists believe by baking a product is loses important enzymes ideal for healthy eating. We currently are producing non-baked health food snacks for a few clients as well as for our own efforts.
Assortment Packing
A number of our facility partners are involved with Assortment Packing practices. Assortment packing involves the creation of mixed or variety packs. The partnering facilities operate automatic and flexible filling lines, capable of weighing and mixing a wide variety of ingredients, while dispensing them into containers of different sizes and shapes.
Clip-Stripping
Our client solutions can include pre-packed clip strip programs. These include impulse strips, display strips, hang strips, hook strips and brand merchandising strips.
Clip-strips are hard or flexible plastic strips/ribbons, on which product is hung in vertical stacks for retail display and purchase.
In-Store Displays
we have partners who specialize in the packing of in-store displays for major retailers. We also offer shrink-wrapping, L-sealing, and many other packing services.
Bagging
Our partnering facilities capabilities include client brand’s bagging needs. Bagging involves the placement of product into flexible containers and sealing them. Our facility partners incorporate vertical form fill and seal (VFFS) machines.
Flow Wrapping
Flow wrapping, or horizontal form fill and seal wrapping, is the process of wrapping product with a film and sealing it in one continuous operation. We can flow-wrap packs with backing or insert cards, and we are experts in using both heat seal and cold seal films.
Hand Packing
A number of our partners provide manual/hand packing services if a project dictates the need.
Metal Detection
All of our automated, semi-automated and manual production lines are equipped with metal detection systems for reliable protection against product contamination.
Warehousing and Distribution
The team has created relationships with regional and national 3PL distribution partners. These are dedicated, fully racked warehouses that are ready to serve any of our customers and clients. Also through our partners we can provide high quality, competitively priced transport, distribution and freight services, locally, nationwide or internationally.
